Crypto liquidation alerts in Telegram
A liquidation is the forced closing of a leveraged position when its margin runs out. Big liquidations move price on their own: liquidated longs are market sells, liquidated shorts are market buys. DiTi watches them on Binance and Bybit and sends you the large ones.

What the bot sends
- Whale liquidations by coin — liquidations of one coin within 60 seconds are added up into one message with the total and the side: longs or shorts.
- Market-wide cascades — $30M+ liquidated across 10+ coins within 5 minutes.
- Your threshold — from $500K, from $1M, or mega only from $5M (the /liqs command).
- Coverage — every Binance USDT-M perpetual and the 100 most traded Bybit USDT perpetuals; stablecoin pairs are skipped.
Why liquidations matter
A wave of liquidations can end a move — everyone on the wrong side has been flushed out — or speed it up, as each forced close pushes price into the next liquidation levels. That is how short squeezes and long flushes happen. Liquidations describe what the market is doing right now; they are not a trade call.
Read them together with open interest and funding
- Open interest falling sharply during a move means positions were closed — often forced. Rising OI means new positions are opening.
- Funding shows which side is crowded. Extreme funding plus rising OI is fuel for liquidations against the crowd — see the funding rate screener.
- The coin breakdown in DiTi shows whether a move was driven by liquidated longs or shorts, new positions or spot buying.
Where else liquidations show up
Sharp moves with heavy liquidations land in the pump and dump screener, which tracks each pump for 4 hours and shows what drove it. You can also ask “Ask DiTi” in the app or the bot how many liquidations there were in the last hour — it answers from live data.
FAQ
What is a liquidation in crypto?
The forced closing of a leveraged futures position when losses have eaten its margin. The exchange closes it at market, which is why large liquidations move price by themselves.
How do I turn on liquidation alerts?
In the Telegram bot @ditialerts_bot send /liqs and pick a threshold: $500K, $1M or $5M.
What is a liquidation cascade?
A chain reaction: forced closes push price further, which triggers the next liquidations. DiTi flags a market-wide cascade when $30M+ is liquidated across 10+ coins within 5 minutes.
Are liquidation alerts free?
Yes. Every section of DiTi is free after signing in with Telegram.
